Erm…not what I meant. I just find it disgusting that some in the US (Robertson, Falwell) blame school shootings on the “removal of God from school.” They use the separation of church and state as a scapegoat, rather than looking into the deeper issues which probably really spurned the tragedy.
So I’m saying why don’t you cool your jets and give them the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming they’ll come out and say that.

Sorry if I jumped to conclusions. It’s just that having a mother who teaches high school and being a high school student myself, this stuff is extremely unnerving.
I ain’t proud of it, but that was my first thought, too.
Yep, I heard about it on the radio this morning, too. I heard it was mostly adults who died, and that one of the gunmen shot himself when he heard the police coming in. My first reaction was just to sit in pure shock, then, “Not another one of these things!”
So sad.
