1958 TV show with con man character named Trump

I came across this today. An episode of the 1950s western TV series ‘Trackdown’ featured a con man named Walter Trump who promised to build a wall in order to prevent the end of the world.

Some of the dialogue:

Narrator: “The people were ready to believe. Like sheep they ran to the slaughterhouse. And waiting for them was the high priest of fraud.”

Trump: “I am the only one. Trust me. I can build a wall around your homes that nothing will penetrate.”

Townperson: “What do we do? How can we save ourselves?”

Trump: "You ask how do you build that wall. You ask, and I’m here to tell you.”

How weird is that?

Coincidence, I’m sure, but I think we should all begin posting it on social media until it goes viral. Just to get under 45’s skin.

He might enjoy it instead.

Let’s see if Trump proposes we form a boy’s band.

He will just say it’s fake.
