also check out the new trendy exhaust

It’s funny that someone would post this, especially here. I just put my name on the waiting list at the local dealer today. Can’t wait until february…

Sweet mother of GOD, that’s a lot of power. That’s twice my car, in fact. And 3 times my Divvy.

So, whatever happened to the gentleman’s agreement that the Jap Four made around the time of the Hayabusa introduction? I thought they’d agreed to restrict power and top speed to the then-current levels.

My 2002 R1 has plenty of power for me.

I don’t know if I like the muffler. One thing I’ve noticed about the R1 is that it can get pretty hot for the rider. I don’t know if I’d like to move the muffler right under the seat, when there’s so much heat being thrown off by the engine already. (Of course, this will be a good thing when it gets cold outside!)

I dunno, Johnny, you look like you could use the extra 30 BHP.

Ouch!

Just joshing ya. I’m probably similar in weight, but my ride seems to be lacking some 90 BHP compared to yours. I think you shouldn’t worry about who’ll win a drag race.

I thought about trying a drag race, but when I was practicing my dress kept flying up in my face.

I submit for your comparison the Dodge Tomahawk

Viper 8.3L V-10 powered superbike.

That’s no bike, it’s a half built car that can’t get round corners!

No, it’s a quad-runner that can’t go off road.

20 valves? Who wants to work on 20 valves? I have a hard enough time doing the 16 on my Connie. I’d like to know how they expect people to keep the front end on the ground as well. Good god I’m scared just thinking about that much power.
