I am writing, I promise… but I do have the TV window open keeping an eye on ESPN’s draft coverage.
Some observations…
- What the hell is wrong with Chris Mortenson? He looks like he’s never been on camera before.
- Stop talking about Brady Quinn. His girlfriend’s hot, though. Even though I railed against the media coverage and I feel he is so overrated, I feel bad for him.
- Are the Miami Dolphins on crack? Ted Ginn Jr.? With a first-round pick? Over Brady Quinn? That’s just dumb, man.
- My 'Skins made a pick for a safety, and he looks like a beast… and that’s it for the Redskins, more or less.
Brady ,lets hope he drops to 2nd rd for Detroit.

Quinn went number 22 to Cleveland. I think he’s from around there, which is cool. I can’t muster the usual ND hate for this guy. Mostly because… well, he pretty much got devoured in every game against good competition. Nobody is going to say, “Hey, you’re overrating us, media!”
He does appear to be solid, at least as good as Rick Mirer (snerk), and I hope it works out okay for him. He’s paired up with world-class douche Kellen Winslow, Jr. so I’m waiting for the “soldier” to call him out once a few balls get short-armed in his direction.
