CNN is calling 4 senate seats flipped democratic and none republican. Looks like things are shaping up for a solid dem majority.

And that’s the game. Now we just need to run up the score.
I’ll feel more secure about that when Obama either wins a second real battleground state for insurance (PA doesn’t count) or else someone figures out WTF is up with Michigan.
Fortunately NC, FL, and CO all look good at this point.
Nope. If Obama doesn’t get it by a wide margin, there’s gonna be a lotta lawsuits filed, and it’ll be Y2K all over again.
CNN.com is showing 51% to 49% in favor of Obama at the moment.
None, really. Obama will more than likely hit 270 even if Florida, Missouri and Virginia go red.
(Woot!_
The party’s over for John McCain. It is now mathematically impossible for McCain to win…barring some bizzare fluke like California going red. Not gonna happen. The new POTUS will be Barrack Obama.
I O!
Way to go for my home state!
Working for me. Maybe they got a backup or something.
Joe Scarborough of MSNBC is tentatively calling Florida for Obama–he has CA, OR and WA sewn up, that’s 73 EVs to add to the 174 they’re reporting now so that’s 247, he doesn’t need to pick up much. Damn, this is feelin’ GOOD!!!
Currently 51 to 48, with 55% reporting.
I do expect a slight spike for McCain toward the end when the Panhandle precincts catch up a bit… that area is more like Alabama Minor.

yesssss!!
Colorado is very likely in the bag for Obama so PA was really all he needed. But Ohio seals the deal. Of course assuming the networks aren’t messing up again.
I don’t think any other battlegrounds are necessary.
Hey, I really hope Obama wins, and I don’t mean to single you out, but do we have to continue the red/blue stuff? McCain and Obama are only slightly harder to type than red/blue.
I don’t know about you guys, but this red/blue stuff drives me nuts.
New Mexico officially went Obama (per MSNBC)
Could someone tell me why the maps on fivethirtyeight.com show Nebraska with 3 little squares in it?
MSNBC just called New Mexico for Obama.
Yeah, but Miami-Dade and Palm Beach, etc. aren’t in yet either.
CNN has not as of yet followed suit for Ohio.
If Obama has Ohio and Pennsylvania, McCain is pretty much beyond recovery. (Assuming that no already-called blue states get uncalled and turned red or anything). Do the math. Assuming McCain runs the table with the remaining swing states (VA, NC, FL, IN, MO, CO, MT, NV) I think he also has to peel away 14 points from assumed Obama (but uncalled as of yet) states NM IA WA OR CA and HI… right? And NM and IA, the least impossible of that unlikely set, aren’t enough.
