I love this fucked-up state!
I would have been thrilled to see my home state of Indiana go for Obama but it looks like 50-49 for McCain at the moment.
There is only one person in the world whose projections I trust, aside from my own; Nate Silver at 538.
He just called it for Obama. Nate says it, I believe it.
I am so proud of my adopted state right now. I am proud to be a Buckeye right now.
MSNBC is saying the lefty precincts haven’t reported much yet. Don’t give up.
The crowd in Grant Park is astonishing.
Mass. has apparently voted to decriminalize small amounts of pot.
I’m just stunned they haven’t called Indiana yet. I thought that one was in McCain’s column for sure.
I haven’t lived there since I was six, but I was born in Ohio. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
CNN has the spread at 8000 votes. You’ll notice they haven’t called it yet.
If only my hometown were having some sort of celebration for Obama tonight. That would be so cool.
I’ll drink to that.
Yes on Question 2!
msnbc: “It’s a Sea of O” I love it
MCain is forked. It is over, the Fat Lady has sungeth. It is an ex-election, as far as Prez goes.
And just to show you dudes, I can admit I was wrong: I had said that Hillary could beat McCain by a better number than Obama- now I doubt it. Certainly Hillary would have won, but not by more, and perhaps even by not as much.
I am still waiting to see who wins Fla, but it looks good there for Obama. It is even possible Obama could win a couple of Deep South states.
THANK YOU
Ohio Obama supporters!!!
And thank you, DrDeth. That was nice of you to acknowledge.
Indiana is on my list as leaning towards McCain, which means his lead in opinion polls was not very much.
…and Obama takes the lead in Virginia, finally, albeit just barely.
CNN says Obama is now ahead in VA.
Some of these projections are just goofy. CNN projects Obama will win New Mexico but lists the current voting % 62/37 McCain/Obama. How about some consistency?
Sorry - I’m late to this party, and I haven’t read all the posts here. But, I think Missouri is still going Obama. It’s leaning McCain now, but only 5% of St. Louis and KC are reporting, and none of Boone County (where Mizzou is). Obama could still pull it off there.
