Damn West Virginia.
I don’t trust the numbers yet.
(and not to sound horrid, but I thought it would be won by a wider margin. For me, this means that a whole LOT of Americans don’t seem to mind horribly negative campaigns and a whole lot are racist–not all, but a lot).
I’m still nervous about Ohio…even with all the major news outlets calling it. I fear a reversal like Florida in 2000.
If Ohio does go for Obama, it is indeed over for McCain. It looks like he’s made a major catch up in VA, and may indeed still win there. McCain would need to win California or Washington or the like…and that’s not going to happen.
For Obama:
Maine
Vermont
New Hampshire
Massachusetts
Connecticut
New Jersey
Delware
DC
Pennsylvania
Illinois
Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin
New York
Rhode Island
Ohio
New Mexico
EV 200
For McCain:
Kentucky
Tennessee
South Carolina
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Alabama
North Dakota
Wyoming
Kansas
Georgia
It looked like a funeral when I drove by there at 430 Arizona time. Seriously, people were driving into the McCain party and it looked like a funeral procession. No people waving banners. Just a line of cars.
Looking at the Ohio map, I see why they called it. Franklin, Hamilton, and Cuyahoga counties aren’t even close to in, and that’s where the big votes are.
And Obama is still leading in Perry. I’m telling you, we’re a bellwether.
All I know is that when a Freeper starts a thread with “Heavenly Father, forgive us for what we have done …” I gotta get my chicken counting finger limbered up, that’s all I’m saying.
As of right now, only about 25% of the precincts in Fairfax county are reporting. There are a lot of people there, and it’ll lean pretty blue. I wouldn’t place too much faith in the numbers just yet.
Did Matthews really just say that McCain was ridiculous with the socialist and Wright attacks and that his campaign went down the last few days with a whimper?? snort
