2008 Presidential Election Results Thread. See it here as they come in.

FWIW, that’s Google’s: http://maps.google.com/help/maps/elections/#2008_election

CNN just said 2 small rural counties so far.

http://elections.foxnews.com/states_map/index.html

Florida 57% Obama
40% something McCain - ha - they’ve just changed it back to 0% reported … ah Foxy - The map is nice though

56% Obama
43% McCain with 2.75 reported

Where is MA and VT? and NY?

None of Northern VA has reported yet. ::Deep Breath::

Fox has flopped FL back to McCain, but McCains early leads in Southern states is being chipped away.

South of Quebec.

Big surprise; McCain has won South Carolina.

South Carolina was just called McCain. Kentucky was called McCain a while ago and Vermont went to Obama. Those are the only states that I have heard offically called so far. Everything else is too close or too early to call.

ETA: Alpha beat me to it!

Vermont’s already been called for Obama; polls in the other two are still open.

Obama’s pulled ahead in NC now. . .

Barack Obama (dem). . . 7,127. . . 51%
John McCain (rep). . . . . 6,688. . . 48%

The map at dailykos (http://scoreboard.dailykos.com/map/) doesn’t seem to work for me anymore. It was a few minutes ago…:frowning:

Same here. I think the server’s getting hammered. It’ll work for a little while then go unresponsive.

It’s not working for me now either.

Hey MSNBC - if states are “Too early to call” - you don’t actually have to tell us that.

With no votes in, Fox is calling Delaware for Obama.

Which is the largest and richest population center of the state…lots of military and government workers live there…it will probably be close and likely swing the state…

fox has Florida McCain 53%, Obama 46%
cnn has Florida Obama 53%McCain 37%

Anyone else extremely nervous?
