The “tiny” makes sense and it’s true for kid male actors as well. A small actor can often portray significantly younger while being more mature and easier to direct. I can barely think of any successful male kid actors over 6 feet tall as adults.
I’m not certain those are recent pics. In most of the pics I’ve seen of them one of them looks “heroin chic” thin, and they both are aging hard and fast. Possibly they are naturally thin, but they do not look particularly healthy in any recent pics I’ve seen.

About the only one nobody’s mentioned that I crushed on as a kid is Krystyne Haje, Simone from “Head of the Class”
One of them (Mary-Kate, I think) had some much-publicized struggles with anorexia.
And after that, but still not yet a teen, she was the little girl who showed up on the doorstep claiming to be the long-lost daughter Ally McBeal never knew existed (or IS she?). Stuck around for, what, eleven episodes? I think she qualifies without any trouble even before we mention JOE SOMEBODY.

This is a sign of how old I am. I’m old enough to remember a child actress who’s now old enough to have played the mother of a child actress who herself has since grown up enough to be an adult hottie.

There’s some speculation that Dakota Fanning might be there when she comes of age. Anyone who’s seen The Runaways knows she’s already there.
I guess Britney Spears qualifies from the Mickey Mouse club, right? Lindsay Lohan qualifies to a much larger extent, having had the starring role in The Parent Trap as a child and then the starring role in Mean Girls as a hottie, both major motion picture releases. Britney Spears’ first movie she was no longer a child. Television of course counts, but that Mickey Mouse club thing was more about singing and dancing than acting.
If that qualifies, I suppose we add Christina Aguilera to the list, but more importantly the paltry guys list gets to add Justin Timberlake.
I personally don’t look at it that way, though. In my mind it’d be like including Tiger Woods. Being a child prodigy is different than being a child star. The other thing against TMMC is that it was only ever watched by children, and of course children have no taste. The Parent Trap was a million times higher profile and better production.
Her sister Elle Fanning is going to be cute, too.

The archetypical child actress becoming an adult hottie is Tatiana M. Ali, the youngest sister on Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire. My friend Mav and I knew that she was going to grow up fine, and we were proven correct.
I had a boycrush* on Melissa Joan Hart from “Clarissa Explains It All” up to “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. Although she was WAY past her teenage years when that show was on.
Lohan was ten when she played Ali Fowler on Another World. Yasmin Bleeth, the Baywatch hottie, played Ryan Fenelli on Ryan’s Hope.
