The cards I sent to Meenie7 and Nanya have been received.
I had one very early one from The Blue-Sighted Shadow and the one from melodyharmonius came yesterday.
So, I’m waiting for one to arrive there and one to arrive here!

I also realised I should have a card of my town, but it is sooooooooooo tiny (3200 inhabitants) there are no cards readily available. I shall keep on digging though!

Well except for faithfool who sent me an antique postcard from Texas. It’s right here, beside me, on my desk and when I want to cry out in anguish at my lack of postcards, I gather it to my bosom and thank the heavens for faithfool.

That’s why I’m trying so hard to make sure that round 2 is just a few new people and the ones who actively participated last time.
I’m glad you at least got one. I feel really, really bad for those who sent out and then didn’t get any back. I feel responsible for not somehow psychically knowing those who wouldn’t be able to follow through.
I’ve still only gotten one, as noted above, from TheTerribleTako.
I’d be inclined to rule as ineligible for participation in Round 2 anyone who hasn’t dropped ALL of his or her postcards in the mail by, say, Monday.
Yup, I’ve not allowed anyone to sign up for round 2 that hasn’t stated that they mailed their postcards. (And hopefully someone has acknowledged receipt.)
If I’ve included anyone in the current list that hasn’t done that - please PM me and let me know - but I did go through yesterday (when I was re-clarifying my original statistics) and re-marked those who said they mailed theirs.
Not your fault, and I love the exercise. Please do not feel bad at all. You are doing a great volunteer job of getting this going. Bravo!
I got three new cards over the weekend and can’t wait to address them! I won’t let a little hiccup stand in the way of postcard randomness!
Aww, you’re so sweet. If you’d like, I’d be more than honored to send you another card. Maybe that’d help to make up a little bit for all the meanies out there who aren’t doing there job.
I’ve received one from smaje1, my first three are sent, apologies for the delay. They’re all off to the US so not sure how long they’ll take. Middle of next week most likely. Apologies for delay.
I live in a tourist trap area just south of Myrtle Beach, SC, and apparently every gift shop here gets their postcards from the SAME CRAP-ASS POSTCARD SUPPLIER.
But, LOTS of antique places, too, so I’m off to some of those shops this weekend.

I have received two cards. Thanks to Ellen Cherry and The Blue Sighted Shadow. It appears that all mine were received.
I spent two weeks at the Stanford Guest House on the SLAC campus while doing some visiting scholar type nonsense at Stanford. Grabbed the postcards from there because they were really really cool. Then this exchange was announced so I got to use them!
Thank you. Then I’ll go a little further, and suggest that no one participate in Round 2 who will not commit to mailing the three postcards within one week of getting the addresses of his or her recipients.
