It reminds me of Sergio Kindle last year.
Upon further examination, I wonder why the Lions picked Fairley over Quinn. I think that might be a mistake. Apparently, the Lions were convinced the Vikings were taking Fairley, so they didn’t envision him getting to them at 13.
Also, my prediction about Solder being the best offensive lineman might be taking a hit. The Colts are usually good at drafting offensive linemen, although Their pick just might work better for their system. Although Solder to the Patriots doesn’t dispel that either. Rats.
Speaking of my Packers…I am putting twenty dollars on they trade down (unless Carmini is magically there and the Bears take a quarterback…I mean…it is the bears)
Are any teams going to take a shot at Ingram or will we go the entire round 1 without a RB going off the board? I do not see anyone with a need for him.
I am perplexed by the Watt pick, though delighted. I think he’ll be a hell of a player. Maybe they can convert Williams to play a hybrid DE/OLB?? But what I think will happen is that they trade him. Mario Williams stands a good chance of being the highest paid defensive player in the league next year. I can’t see Houston doing that for a 3-4 DE, hybrid or not, Wade Phillips’s esoteric 3-4 or not. I’m a little irritated that they then didn’t make the decision to trade him now, but what can you do?
Very surprised they did not try to trade back and pick up Kerrigan. Or try to trade up to grab Peterson when he was still around at 5.
Wow, Baldwin, nice fit opposite Bowe I think. Kind of a reach though. Wonder if the Ravens were interested in him, I don’t like seeing more WRs going because the Bears need one to slide to the 3rd round.
OK, Bears trade up with the Pats to ensure they get the OL they need? I like the move since the Pats would have been fielding calls from all over to get out of that pick. Hope they take the right guy, I think they like Carimi a lot.
