Too bad why? Dalton has a good skillset. He wasn’t the pick I wanted or would have taken, but its not necessarily a bad pick. The Bengals have a talented roster. The Bengals need to shore up the offensive line and get a safety now and they will be good, provided they resign Jonathon Joseph, Cedric Benson and Leon Hall with all the money they will be saving by not having to pay Carson Palmer 12 million dollars and OchoSucko 6 million this season.
We’re just having fun.
I agree. There might not be a season this year. You have the luxury of getting him under the knife, sitting him out when there’s no football to play anyways, let him learn and recover at a healthy pace, and then let him loose and chase the passer in 2012.
The Lions should take Bowers. They wouldn’t even need to field a back 7.
Ah, damn. Titus was my backup WR plan for the other 2nd round pick in case Little isn’t there.
The pick has GOT to be Martez Wilson here, right? Wilson or Rahim Moore.
Bowers?
Titus Young, probably a nice pickup for the Lions.
The Vikings are dumb as all hell.
…Wait.
What? I don’t get this. I’m not sure I like this at all. Why Titus Young?
My understanding of his injury is that it involved a loss of cartiledge in the knee, so it’s indicative of possible long term issues. Add in his poor pro day performance and no team wants to take a chance this early in the draft.
Everyone stand up here. Barry is in the house.
Show proper respect, Omni.
Good pick, after Calvin Johnson the Lins have no other
real WR threats.
Honestly, I can see this either way. Again, everyone clearly passed on him once and they had NO problem doing so. It could even be that Sergio Kindle dropping and getting picked in the second and not playing at all this past year.
Man, I’ve been saying that name a lot today.
They got to get a speedster opposite Megatron. Makes sense, Young fits in in the slot and on special teams. Makes a lot of sense. There might be better or more complete WRs on the board, but if they think Young is the best one it makes sense.
ETA: Makes sense.
I’ve heard rumors that Bowers has a bone-on-bone situation with the knee. That’s rough for him if true at his age.
Not you people. Those people.
I would never say anything bad about you people. But those people… don’t even get me started.
Sorry, I was busy running 5 yards backwards away from my keyboard.
Nate Burleson played very well last year. Stefan Logan is really underrated as a speedy guy.
I dunno. With everyone else out there, with the needs, I don’t see that as the necessary pick. I’d love to be wrong, though.
Barry Alvarez?! Very cool!
Yeah, but when you got back to your keyboard, you typed out three best-sellers without trying.
Oh man, Shannon Sharpe is at the podium now. This pick will take 5 minutes for him to spit out and nobody will understand him anyways.
Burleson is an underrated compliment to Johnson. They should’ve grabbed a CB if they had anyone rated anywhere near the top there.
Weird run there. I don’t like either of the two teams who selected TE in this round. The Vikings already had Shiancoe and the Rams have Hoomanawanui (yes I spelled that without looking it up, go Illini) and neither seem to need a TE at this stage of the draft.
I like Wisneiwski but not in the first half of the second round. I thought the Bears would have a shot at him in the 4th.
The Colts just took Ijalana, which after the Castanzo picks makes for a pretty stout and improved O line. Love that pick for them.
