I am happy to report that you both should be receiving a postcard soon if all reportings are true. However, you both are also victims of the Canadian mail strike 
But that just means that later I’ll get mail when I least expect it! 
And none of the ones I sent have turned up yet. Maybe next week. I hope it’s worth the wait.

I received an Ohio postcard from **gardentraveler **today.
Well, there’s rumours that the federal gov’t will introduce back-to-work legislation soon, to force Canada Post and the Union into binding arbitration and restore services. However, the NDP Opposition will likely filibuster the bill.
So, all we can say is, “the postcards are in the mail.”
And wait.
I have been cleaning out boxes and found a post card from around 2006 or 2007. It was from… dbygawdcapn! We are fated to send postcards to one another!
And both at the mercy of Poste Italia…

I sent mine on June 9 but I guess that wasn’t quite long enough for them to miss the strike.
Shadow, VWife just dumped a pile of mail on my desk, and your card was in it. She said it was yesterday’s delivery. A cute lil ol’ note card with some posies in a coffee cup.
This makes me 3 and 3 for this round, BTW.
I also just got a similiar card from The Blue-Sighted Shadow - that was my third received card, yay! 
Yay! I came home from a long weekend away in York and found a lovely postcard from needscoffee all the way from Seattle. Oddly enough, it’s on our potential list of places to visit next year.
So the federal Government has introduced back-to-work legislation; NDP vows to oppose it as long as possible: Ottawa Moves to End Postal Disruption.
I received my 3rd official postcard from gardentraveler last night at the PO - it may have arrived sooner - i only get to the PO 2-3 times a week.
I love the cut-out - at first i thought someone had bitten my postcard!
Still no postcard here other than Algher’s.
You can maybe see why I was so emphatic that people should mail theirs by the deadline.
