Today I discovered this insane annual event, where the growers of ginormous pumpkins not-quite-ginormous-enough to win the State Fair instead hollow them into boats and race them down the river.

Bang, onto the bucket list. This I gotta see (do?) before I die.

What have you added to your bucket list this year?

They do this in Nova Scotia every year. I remember a few years ago, Martha Stewart was going to be in it, but there was a problem.

I imagine it’s a very cold day out on the water. But super fun to watch.

I wonder how hard it would be to hollow out a pumpkin that size?
