yup, 4 TDs and 266 yards in the first half. Pretty much put the game away and clinched home field advantage, too. I wonder what he would have done with Welker playing?
That’s not what I saw, but I suppose I’m pulling for the Bears even though I don’t give a shit about this game, because even if the Bears win, there is no fucking way they are getting anywhere with that defense. Hell, even the announcers thought it was a dumb call. I just saw a guy whose momentum led him into Rodgers. But you disagree, so be it.
Clearly, I’m confused about the rules about the offense being able to advance a fumble. A look at Wikipedia tells me that all of the “fumbles” I’ve been thinking of that were controversial this year were actually muffs.

I wouldn’t have made the call at all, but Rodgers was clearly down and McClellin took the opportunity to roll on top of him. It was nothing that doesn’t happen every game, and I wouldn’t have flagged it, but it wasn’t this huge travesty. And the end result was that the Packers ended up with a field goal rather than having to end up with a field goal.
I was hoping for a well played, tough fought game, but it’s been a bad game for both teams. Rodgers is off on his passes and is clearly out of rhythm calling plays, but the Bears aren’t impressing at all and the mental lapse on the TD and the fumble are costing them the game.
Bad game so far.
