Barcelona 3-1. Accurate reflection I think. Juventus like Man Utd in 2011 gave it their all. Not good enough and Barcelona simply raised their game and ran out winners.
Morata and Pogba are good kids, they could build on them.
Had a family thing today so I just finished it off the DVR… 3-1 was about right, but if it was 2-2 and going to extra time, that wouldn’t have been completely crazy. Barca definitely had the better of it, but Juve had enough chances that there’s some alternate world where they pulled it out. Entertaining match to watch for a neutral, and congrats to Barca on a hell of a season.
Great game. It is still true to say that Barca don’t really have a plan B, but when their plan A is so often unstoppable…who cares?
Plan A was…score more goals. Its generally a good plan.
I agree that they did look vulnerable to Morata and Pogba and they really need someone at the Center back position like Puyol was, And there are going to lose Dani Alves to.
Its for these reasons that I rate them as less to the Guardiola side. That side made Manchester United look like caned schoolboys. You never gave them a chance. Juve were in it until the last minute, the old side would never have let them near.
