I quite disagree on your vehicular homicide criteria. My view is that these should only be included if there was an intent to kill people–not if the driver was simply driving too fast and not paying attention.

Maybe there needs to be a thread on mass shootings. We have so many mass shootings that don’t get much notice because there aren’t a lot of deaths, or any in some cases. But they’re still mass shootings by definition. Memphis had four just in September.

But if it’s a homicide I guess it’s a killing so it really does belong here.

It seems likely that the operator (Prestige) will be charged with something.

Although it has not been identified as criminal misconduct, yet, it seems like it should be on the list, based on the evidence, because it probably eventually will be.
