2020 POTUS Debate 1 (29 September) follow-along and discussion thread

Or it could be looming insolvency. Which seems likely.

He’s only a billionaire based on properties that nobody wants to buy. And I wouldn’t trust the assessed values of those properties either.

Again, how do you know this? Have you looked into his real estate, golf courses, aircraft, stocks, art, gold holdings?

The Forbes article details losses and gains on his various properties.
Where do you think the 600 million loss came from?

Yes, Donald Trump Is Still A Billionaire. That Makes His $750 Tax Payment Even More Scandalous

Your honor, Trump shot the sheriff, but he didn’t shot his deputy…

Yeah I guess you found a good thing to counteract what a lousy citizen he is… /s

All of those are losing money. And if they’re not, Trump is lying to the IRS.

I was asking how they knew nobody wants to buy New York real estate.

How do you know this? It is really just wishful thinking.

How the fuck would I know? I’m not on Forbes’ staff. However, they’re a sight more trustworthy than Trump.

Sorry it was unclear, tripolar was the one suggesting no one wants NYC buildings.

Because that is what the documents the NYT got a hold of indicate. Are you suggesting the NYT is lying? If so, How do YOU know this? It is really just wishful thinking on your part.

Ya know, you could give this guy lessons.

So we have a binary choice, ALL of Trumps assists are losing money, or he is lying to the IRS.

Again, what bank is going to loan him money? There is a reason he hasn’t been able to get a loan from any banks except one.

Not really, it can be that many Trump assets are losing money and he is lying to the IRS too.

I lack knowledge about his current relationships with the entirety of global lending institutions.

Whatever helps you make it through the day.

Surely, someone who’s done multi-million dollar deals can spell assets correctly.

Well, I’m on the record of welcoming grammar corrections when I make them, but it is clear that you also ignore corrections to the sorry logic you use too.

It is called auto correct, I did not sufficiently review my post before hitting reply.
You are wise to question my claim of business deals in the eight figure range. Perhaps if we talk enough about Industrial Development Revenue Bonds , the downside of accelerated depreciation , the annual sales needed to attract VC and other things a basement dweller would not know about, that will give some credence to my claims.
