2020 POTUS election polls

I thought we could prolly use a thread to post polls and talk specifically about them. It seems to me that there are far too many threads with random foci where polling numbers might be part of the conversation, but they’d get lost for anyone trying to find them.

I’ll start off with a poll from Military Times that shows Trump’s support from military members is slipping:

And then I’ll offer up this Quinnipiac poll (this was cited by Nate Silver today on Twitter) that shows Biden leading Trump in nearly every category plus questions that indicate people are not happy with Trump’s time in office:

I see a lot of Trump supporters are laying all of their hopes on the Trafalgar Group polling that consistently has Trump ahead everywhere.

I should hope his support in the military is waning. after the atlantic article and other things he has said and done… stomach churning.

biden edging up at 538.

This thread may also be of interest:

The best (and only, IMO) election model to follow:

Today’s Votemaster has Biden up by 10% in Wisconsin. OTOH, PA is now a statistical tie, as are FL, NC, and GA. They use an average of recent polls, at least those they have reason to think are honest.

Biden was born in Penna. Hope he’ll really fight for it.

HA! Says you!

“View it differently” has always been synonymous for him with “Ignoring objective reality because I want to.”

Sure enough (as I predicted in another thread), Biden is slipping in Florida (Quinnipiac poll, rated B+ by Nate Silver, has him only up 3%). You just can’t trust that state.

(Good news in Wisconsin and Arizona, though.)
