I just scored my first Death Pool points ever.
I don’t want 'em.
Aaron wasn’t just a great ballplayer; he was also a philanthropist and wonderful ambassador for Atlanta, baseball, and the Braves. A decent and humble man.
Goddammit.

Slow Moving Vehicle, there are three players who had Aaron, but I almost missed you because you had him listed as Henry.

Margo St. James, sex worker advocate dead at 83.
Mary Catherine Bateson, writer and cultural anthropologist dead at 81.
Anybody have Det. Chano? Gregory Sierra dead at 83
Damn. They blew him up in his car.
Larry King signs off for the last time at 87, apparently from COVID-19.
I was worried when I heard he had it and was in the hospital. Sad news for sure.
Six players had King

A last minute addition I added, that paid off. What a legacy that man had, even if he was a weirdly blunt interviewer sometimes.
I almost missed that conservative author and blogger Kathy Shaidle passed away this month.
Died on 9 January 2021 (aged 56)
Points for me.
Looks like a unique pick, too.

Jazz pianist Junior Mance dead at 92 from Alzheimer’s.
And, I sadly have to suggest that he beats out Dawn Wells for “Most famous person dead of COVID.”
I think Larry King is considerably more famous than both Phil Spector and Dawn Wells. And the link upthread said he’d been hospitalized with Covid-19 earlier this month, so I’m assuming that’s what killed him.
Almost no one has heard of him including me and I love jazz. Almost all Americans know who Dawn Wells is.
Almost no one? I guess we must travel in different circles.
I could be wrong, but I think @RivkahChaya was referring to Phil Spector.
