Cancer can progress very quickly. My former manager’s daughter wasn’t feeling well, went to the doctor, was admitted to the hospital, and died a week later of stage 4 liver cancer. My aunt had almost the same thing happen, except it took two months, and she spent it at home in hospice care. My own sister died last September, less than a week after she began experiencing severe headaches, from a fast growing brain tumor.
According to this article, he was only diagnosed three weeks ago.
