Otisburg? OTISBURG!?

Actress Lisa Banes has died at 65 after being struck by a motorized scooter.

Her acting credits include Gone Girl, Cocktail, [my favorite movie title ever] Mother May I Sleep With Danger? and a recurring role on TV’s Royal Pains.

Richard Robinson, head of Scholastic Books and son of the founder, dead at 84.

By, Herb. You were good in Salem’s Lot.

Brigitte Gerney, who got her six hours of fame in 1985 when a crane in the Upper East Side of Manhattan fell on her and crushed her legs, tying up traffic in the process and making headlines across the nation, dies at 85.

I’d never heard of this incident. This woman seems to have led something of an ill-fated existence. From the New York Times obituary:

Jesus!

John Paragon, Jambi and Pterri on PeeWee’s Playhouse, died in April but his death was announced this week. 34 points that were likely unclaimed.

Janet Malcolm, journalist, New Yorker staff writer, and Author dead at 85.

He also played one of RJ Fletcher’s sons in the criminally underrated UHF.

(I was going to make a joke about “what’s Major done NOW?” Yeah, too soon. Read it later.)

He’s got that “stay” command down like a motherfucker

Dang. I have a “Twilight Zone” theme in the Themed Death Pool thread, but I didn’t have her.
