I’m so sorry that I’ll never get to read a new Didion book. I never read anything she wrote that I didn’t like, admire, and envy.

I am also very sorry that she’s on both my regular Death Pool list for next year and the themed one, so now I have to find replacements. However, she is also on both lists for this year, so points.

I thought when I put people on my lists I guaranteed them immortality.
