I’ve never read this thread before. You get one pt for each year someone dies before age 100, yes? So how can someone have picked four people right, and yet have a score of two? Did he put names of people over 100 on his list?

Yes, a person over 100 yields 0 points. Several peope had picked Kirk Douglas a few years ago, when he died at 104, and they got 1 pick worth zero points (there are no negative points, as the game is negative enough itself). We had one player who had a score of 0 on 7 picks some while back – I believe they might have been vying for the quantity award.

If y’all will tolerate another Q: Do you think the recent flurry of lotsa deaths of elderly people is a symptom of delayed Covid deaths? There were definitely stories saying QE2’s death was probably hastened by her recent-ish bout with it, though she’d apparently recovered.

Well, it was fun, and I managed to hang onto the top 10, despite the last-minute flurry of fatalities. Congrats to Registered At Last, and thanks to our Death Shroom for taking over for Baker early this year!

I have stayed away all day, not trusting that the last minute death that pushed me into first would actually be enough.

But I think I can now say “WOO HOO!!!”

I would like to thank all my interesting corpses. It was nice to get to know them (before they so sweetly gave up their points)
