The Death Shroom accepts and appreciates all thanks and salutations. He will remain dormant, yet fully available to provide service to the Death Mistress, should he be called to service. In the interim, he will both bask in the glow of his 3rd place finish, and better prepare for surviving a future unexpected “week of carnage” that occurred between December 25th and 31st.
Actually 2015 was my last win. I also won in 2012. I also had a Themed win in 2019, maybe that was what you were thinking of. 2020 was my worst year. I finished out of the top 5 at 6th place. That encouraged my to up my game again.
And because I have a gender neutral name and I was misgendered somewhere up thread, I will mention that my pronouns are she/her.
I hope it wasn’t me. My own username, outside of this thread, sometimes still gets the male pronoun. Here of course there is no issure, I’m the DeathMistress.
I don’t think it was. And even if it was, it is no big deal. It does makes me empathize with the gender dysphoria that my trans friends experience all the time, when this minor bit of misgendering it happens to me.
