Bobby Hull dies at age 84.
Geez, how many is that this month? And we still have one day left!
ETA: My rough count is at 78 so far. That’s 2.6 per day.
(Anyone else starting to think that this year’s Celebrity Death Pool might wind up being one for the record books?)

One of the things I began noticing a year or so ago, soon after I turned 80, is how many of these noteworthy types are younger than I am! And, thing is, I don’t quite know what to make of that…
Is this one of the “rewards” for aging?
Four out of 78? Now that’s terrifying!
Lisa Marie and Adam Rich were my age. That kind of brought my mortality to light. I used to be the youngest kid in the room. Now people my age (and younger!) are dying.
But none of them were on my list. Dammit.
Ozzy is NOT dead, but suddenly canceling all upcoming shows is rarely a good sign…unless you have him in your pool.

I picked the wrong wrestler again. Unlike a lot of older wrestlers he looked like he was in good shape. He was on roids only for a short time in the 80s. It was extremely noticeable when he was.
He went out to see his shadow, but what he did see struck him stone dead. Isn’t there an episode of Twilight Zone or one of its knockoffs where a kid who can see a day or two into the future suddenly refuses to announce his prediction, then says a new renaissance is coming, because what he actually saw is the world would end the next day?
