He has his own thread in CS. World class musician David Lindley dead at 78.
I bet the warranty on your body has already expired, too!
Take care of yourself, ok?
Yeah, I’m 68. If everybovy who sees a celeb they picked mentions that in the post that will help.
Bummer. I loved his stuff. Running on Empty introduced me and El Rayo-X hooked me.
I wondered how long he’d last once the machines were turned off.
Sweet! I got post #666 in this thread!
I think that means you’re guaranteed one dead celebrity off next year’s list. Congrats!
I’ll make sure to thank you in my acceptance speech.
It seems also that Jimmy Carter is lasting longer than you’d think after they ended treatment.
Reading between the lines, I felt it was a matter of weeks with Carter but it was only going to be a matter of hours with Sizemore once they took him off life support.
May I interrupt this regularly scheduled thread to be my pedantic self and correct all the media people who have said (and keep saying), “Tom Sizemore dead after suffering a brain aneurysm” or similar statements. I can guarantee he’s had the aneurysm for years. What killed him was when the aneurysm ruptured!

Pedantry is what keeps the SDMB going.
Robert Haimer, aka Artie Barnes of “Barnes and Barnes”. 69.
Gary Rossington was the last living original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Hospice care can go on for some time. For my father, they said it could be 6 months, it could be days. It ended up being about 6 weeks - and only then because he pulled his feeding tube out and he and my mother decided not to have it put back in.
Looks like they’ll have to cancel the 2076 tour now.
He also ran for President of the US.
