All right, Andy, do us a favor mate!

Yeah man, take one for the team!

you are no longer Japan

Wow. What a way to go.

A name I know, but I looked at his filmography and I’ve hardly ever seen him, though he apparently had a blink-in-you-miss-it appearance in Empire Strikes Back, but wasn’t even credited.

Npw this one is bad. It’s how my father was killed. He was 85, on his motorcycle, and a distracted car driver hit him, trapping him between his own truck and the one in front.

I’m so sorry to hear this. My wife’s father was just behind a semitruck that tipped and crushed the car immediately in front of him, killing the passengers inside the car. He avoided death or extreme injury by feet. His family(I did not know them at the time) has been thankful daily since the late 1980’s, when this happened.

It’s scary out there.

How sad, Baker! That had to have been tough, a sudden death like that. I’m sorry.

I seem to be firmly in the Zero Club this year. Not one damn evil politician has seen fit to shuffle off the mortal coil. Assholes.

For all the varied and interesting work he did, I remember Treat Williams best from the amusing and over-the-top monster movie Deep Rising. His exasperated “Now what?” in response to each new disaster was a terrific running gag.

This is very sad news.

“Treat” yourself with episode 280 of Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast, where Williams is the guest. If you can get over Gil’s voice, it’s a great show

Gottfried still did his comedy voice while interviewing people? Or is it not an interview show?

It’s an interview show, and yeah, he does the voice. Sometimes he even sings. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard his version of McArthur Park. His co-host keeps him in line, mostly.

Well not still…

It was a great podcast. His partner was a good contrast.

Oh, I said “did”…

Carroll Cooley, one of the arresting officers of Ernesto Miranda, will exercise his right to remain silent indefinitely now.

Interesting note: today is the 53rd anniversary of the Miranda Rights.
