Eva Marie Saint was born 7/4/1924. Unsurprisingly, she’s the oldest living Oscar winner.
And Norman Lear is 101 and I think still active. I could see him making 105, which would be great.

With two exceptions all the folks still on my list are at least 95.
Darn. How did I not include him on my list of entertainers over 90?
It’s the 2000’s and I have no points!
Shut Up, Lady!
When have you ever? In any thread?
We sure know how to pick some healthy inconsiderate bastards, don’t we? Is there a competition for that?
I guess it says a great deal for modern medical science. And money.

Shitty way to go and way too young. I always liked him. One of my favorite TV chefs
Wow. What a shock. I always liked him too.

I remember her name largely from the Mandalorian credits and my wondering how the hell one pronounces “Trpcic”, but in all seriousness her work was fantastic.
Can’t remember which Death Pooler originally said it, but they’ve got a lot of practice in not dying and have gotten quite good at it.
Sigh. This is the second time this month somebody wrote that they remembered the quote but didn’t remember who said it.

Oh, dear. Um, sorry to burst your amour propre , but Terry Pratchett beat you to the idea, if not the exact quote:
Six Beneficient Winds : But … they’re so old!
Mr Saveloy : Indeed, and of course, this is true. They are very old barbarian heroes.
Six Beneficient Winds : Oh, my …
Mr Saveloy : That’s right. They’ve had a lifetime’s experience of not dying. They’ve become very good at it." …

Pratchett clearly stole the line from me. Seventeen years before I said it. I assume time travel or precognition or black magic was involved.
L-space. The Librarian periodically trolls the SDMB for ideas. Pratchett’s next novel would have featured a plane on a treadmill, a declawed cat, and Opal.
A sad story…at least for those not playing the SDMB Celebrity Death Pool. America’s sweetheart, Olympic champion Mary Lou Retton is apparently not long for this world.
45 points, in case you were curious.
