But what’s special about Tuesday? The GA SOS’s site says absentee ballots should have been mailed out this past Monday. Any reason why he can’t vote and mail it as soon as he receives it? ETA: I assume he filed to receive an absentee ballot, rather than having to vote in person, given the state of his health.
Not sure, the article I read said ballots would be valid for mailing starting the 15th. Whatever the case, I hope he does get the vote. As I’ve said before my maternal grandmother voted in 2012, with the help of a great granddaughter. She did not live to the election but she had a vote! She would have been 108 that year.
