I’ve been in this thing 20 years and I believe last year, I had my first unique pick with Don Wildmon, that right-wing extremist guy.
Well, I didn’t.
I have had several unique picks over the years. That’s what I often look for. The one I remember best was Benazir Bhutto. She was killed on 12/27 of that year and got my my only points, as well as the final hours award.
I think my John Mayall pick earlier this year was unique, and probably my first one. Heck, I’m lucky if I get any picks at all, much less unique ones!
You have to train all year for this. My 2025 has 15 names already.
