2024 SDMB Celebrity Death Pool

What about Keith Richards?

He’ll die in a car accident. Ringo will be driving.

Hmm, including the kids in the first two films?

Ringo will claim it was an accident. No one will believe him.

Marion Ross is 95, so we should have maybe 10 years, tops, to find out what malign fate is going to take out Scott Baio, Ted McGinley, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Anson Williams and Don Most to leave her the last one standing.

Bad tuna salad from catering at a show reunion at some con.

The last surviving Happy Days cast member will be Randolph Roberts. He’s got something to prove.

And the license plate will be 94IF.

mmm

Did Pete Best get a good amount of money from the Beatles portion of his life? I mean, if he was collecting $100,000(or pounds) a year, I’d call that pretty good for a two year stint in a band that went big after he left it.

Kind of reminds me of the guy who played Alvin on the Cosby show. He was making $100,000+ in residuals until Cosby’s horrific past was fully exposed and his cash was cut off, since networks pulled Cosby Show airings at that time. I felt for him, since residuals for a show you made a big amount of appearances on provide decent salary years on.

He made nothing. He was fired before they recorded their first song.

Thanks. Wow, that blows.

Guys, Paul is already dead. John buried him in cranberry sauce after he blew his mind out in a car. Try to keep up.

Pete Best received plenty in royalties after the Beatles used his version of “Love Me Do” on the Anthology album released in the ‘90s.

Nitpick: I assume you’re talking about Geoffrey Owens, who played Elvin.

Thanks. I am and I legit forgot* the characters name was with an “E”. Yes, Geoffrey Owens.

He took a job at Trader Joe’s because his income went to zero when Cosby Show went off the air. I think he has been getting more work since then, though.

*more like I had no idea. I watched as a kid and heard “Alvin” even if they were saying “Elvin”. I don’t think I’ve heard that name in real life.

Why? What did he contribute to what made the Beatles rich and famous? What do you think he deserved?

Well, yes & no. He was still working as an actor when he was job-shamed in 2018.

And he was an acting teacher, and a judge also served as a judge for the National Shakespeare Competition semi-finals for at least 25 years.

But, yeah, his career went through a lot of variation since the Bill Cosby story broke. But he’s certainly had a lot more success in the last few years.

My cousin also tripped while drunk and hit his head on something extremely hard (I don’t recall exactly what) then died.

Baker how was your trip for the eclipse? Hope you had a great time!

Bob Saget was not drunk, but he also whammed his head and laid down and died.
