You mean like he is dead and not dead at the same time?
Apologies on Higgs, looked back a few pages - nada. Should have done a full search. It’s never happened before ( ).
Bennett Braun has gone to test his theories in person:
We won’t know until you open the coffin.
My parents made us throw away Might and Magic I: Secrets of the Inner Sanctum after a visitor to Sunday School told them how DND took over his life and ruined the life of others.
Many, many, many years later I finally was able to look up what the Secret of the Inner Sanctum was since it bothered me since the mid-to-late 80’s.
Great parents, but this one they got a bit caught up in. By college, I had joined a DND group and played many Final Fantasy, other JRPG’s, and quite a few WRPG’s(Wizardry, Fallout, etc.).
Never went back to Might and Magic. I think it was too clunky.
CJ Snare, who was the lead singer of the 90s band FireHouse, has died aged 64.
With that name, I’d figure he’d have been the drummer! /rimshot
Go to your room.
ETA:
Ken Holtzman, who threw two no-hitters for the Chicago Cubs and won four World Series for the Yankees and Oakland A’s, has died at 78.
And that’s… All She Wrote.
This is why I love you.
Aw shucks! I just did what had to be done.
Whitey Herzog, who managed my two favorite MLB teams, the Royals and Cardinals, has called for his last hit-and-run, age 92. His teams, playing a style called ‘Whiteyball’, featured aggressive baserunning and emphasized speed and defense.
It’s a run on ball players, apparently.
Carl Erskine, a great hurler for the Brooklyn/L.A. Dodgers, has passed at 97 years old.
Dan Wallin, Oscar nominated (Woodstock [1970], and A Star is Born [1976]) and Emmy winning sound engineer with over 600 TV and movie credits to his name.
Also:
I would have bet money that Erskine and Herzog were already dead. Erskine was the last link to the Brooklyn Dodgers of my father’s youth. My father probably would have traded one of us to keep them in Brooklyn.
Herzog was at the Cardinals opening day ceremony just two weeks ago. The only thing wrong anyone noticed was that he stayed in the owner’s box rather than coming out on the field with the other old-timers. He still had all his marbles and was up to date on the current Cardinals team and baseball in general. Even in his 90s he was always good for a quote.
TikTok gossip columnist Kyle Marissa Roth has died at 36 under “mysterious circumstances.”
A visit to Cabin Cove, perhaps?
