Former NFL quarerback Roman Gabriel is dead at 83.

Longtime ESPN researcher and host of the trivia show Stump the Schwab, Howard Schwab, has died at the age of 63.

Oh, this one hurts.

I have had the honor of performing for Sir Andrew Davis on many, many occasions as a chorister, including on stage and on recordings, as well as having a few passing conversations and handshakes with him. He was a man of immense talent and unrelenting good nature, one of the great conductors of the era and much beloved by his orchestras. And I know a lot of people who will be deeply saddened by the news of his passing.

Rest in peace, Sir Andrew. All waits undreamed of.

Michael Pinder, keyboardist for the 2nd incarnation of the Moody Blues, has apparently moved on as of today, age 81. Only note I can find on it is a Facebook page, which however gives me an error (maybe because I am not a member of Fb).

Chris King (real name Christopher Cheeks ) was shot and killed in Nashville, Tenn., April 20 in a shooting that left others injured, police confirmed in a press release. He was 32.
