What is the youngest death that scored points in the history of our Death Pool here on the Dope?
I should keep notes but I’ll have to go back and look around.
I remember a recent one from a few years ago that involved a car accident in Australia that happened on about December 28th or so. As I recall, she was in the hospital for 5 weeks before they pulled the plug, and several people got something like 77 points for her.
This may be the youngest, a Russian hockey player named Rodion Amirov. He was 21 when he died last year
Until the ‘no one under 18’ rule was put in place, it was Hunter Kelly, Jim Kelly’s (NFL QB) son, who died of some horrible disease very young.
Not quite. Somebody chose Hunter Kelly (who I believe was five at the time). So I created the “No one under eighteen” rule and she made a different pick.
Ironically, Hunter Kelly did not die until three years later. The person this poster picked as a substitute was Layne Staley, who did die that year and scored her sixty-six points.

I’d not put a lot of faith in that, apparently he is responding well to treatment and keeping those plans updated is par for the course.
Pretty sure he is on my list so I should be even more dismissive of that article in the hopes of being made more of a fool of if he croaks, but on the flip side , it would be my first points of the year.

Made me wonder how many of you saw the same thing and had some kind of reaction.
