We’re still in shock.
Absolutely insane. Anounoby saved Hart’s ass. (Hart missed a dunk in the last minute…the Knicks were down by one, with a few seconds left…Brunson’s shot clanked…Anounoby tipped it in to put the Knicks up by one).
Just…incredible. Greatest game in many years.
Fox going for the dunk and missing it with 11 seconds left while up by 1 was absolutely boneheaded. The Spurs had made a stop and had possession with the lead, you don’t make a quick basket even if it’s guaranteed. And then to miss it! Couldn’t happen to a better team.
And who partly blocked (or just well defended – can’t recall) Fox’s ill-advised shot?
Yup, it was Anounoby.
Wow that was insane. Down 29 to win by 1! With one second left! Just incredible. It is so loud outside now! So much cheering and horns honking.
I may be a Pacers fan, but I’m rooting for the Knicks to win this thing. You deserve it.
Damn. Guess I turned it off too early. Pretty incredible.
For some reason my son made a bet with his friends that he would get a buzz cut if the Knicks won. I think he’s in trouble.
Just watched the 4th quarter on YouTube. The Knicks’ defense was phenomenal and they really earned that win.
Towns gets two fouls early, Knicks fall behind by double digits in the first half, the arena crowd cheers wildly for the Knicks…
Just like Wednesday, except this time it’s in San Antonio, which makes the third similarity weird!
Really incredible how the Knicks just keep coming back.
Congratulations to NY!
Fittingly, the Spurs lost by blowing a lead again. They have lost a lead in all 4 losses.
Congrats to the Knicks.
Wow. The Knicks really earned this championship with one of the most dominant, improbable runs of all-time.
Let’s have the Pacers do it next year.
I hope the Pistons mature enough to make it to the finals next year. I would not argue with the Pacers winning, though. They had the real bad breaks the past year or two.
Giannis has been traded to the Heat.
This should be a gift link.
Milwaukee gets Tyler Herro, a few other players, and draft picks.
So they went with future value and cap space rather than Jaylen Brown. Probably a smart decision.
