2026 Celebrity Death Pool

Best in Show is so good and she was great as Cookie.

This sucks. I loved her in everything she’s done, especially loved her as Moira Rose.

Her performance in Schitt’s Creek was amazing, Emmy worthy. She has had many successes, but I found that show to be her biggest and best performance.

I religiously watched SCTV when it was on NBC. Not many kids in school stayed up after SNL to watch a Canadian comedy show so I thought I was into something secret and special.

Oh, ouch. I was too young to see Sanford and Son on the original run, but used to catch a fair amount of re-runs as a kid.

Redd Foxx was crazily funny on that show and Grady Wilson knew exactly how to be the frustrated straight man to Foxx’s shenanigans.

Sad loss.

Note: As a kid, I only know Redd Foxx from this. I had zero clue he was, well, mainly famous for his dirty comedy routines. I learned more about him when that Dolemite movie came out a few years ago. He was, at least little bit, a competitor, to Dolemite.

First thing I thought of too.

He was a celebrity to me.
Colin O’Shaughnessy, AKA “The Giz”, costar of the horror movie podcast GoreCast, died at home in Limerick. He died Wednesday, and I have yet to find out old he was, though I doubt he was on anyone’s list.

Mingo Lewis died. He wasn’t exactly a household name but he played with Santana, Al Di Meola and The Tubes.

It looks like Allecher is going to pick up 11 points since there are 11 months left in the year and:

Fernando Esteso, Spanish comedian, 80, and Rita Süssmuth, 88, German politician, die. He had his best and most successful days in the `70s and '80s, then his brand of humour became too vulgar and bigoted even for Spanish TV. She was a consevative politician with more advanced and liberal views than I gave her credit at the time. I guess nobody had them on their list.

I guess Mama told him to come.

So is it Two Dog Night now? One Dog Night? Are there any Dog Nights left?

Three Dog Night was a nostalgia fixture at Big Spring Jam in Huntsville, AL in the early 90’s. None of the, “This crap is from our new CD” music. They played their hits and covers straight up. Us oldies in the crowd sang along word for word. One year, band stands were changed at the last minute. The youngsters expecting some clash metal crowded the stage. TDN came out; the kids were horrified - even more so by seeing their parents behind them reveling in THEIR music and singing along.

He’s no longer on the road to Shambala

I just told someone that last night was a three dog night. I had not seen this news!

[Pedant] That’s Dogs Night [/Pedant]

I wonder if he ever made it to Spain.

Of the three original founders of Three Dog Night, just Danny Hutton is still kicking.
