Also, Jordan James Parke, who was featured on the TV show Botched (and who was known as “The Lip King”), died February 18 at the age of 38. Arrests have been made. The case is currently being treated as a manslaughter case.

Ugh, the worst. I hate learning this for anyone. Just terrible. I feel so bad for Robert and all of his family. Stephen Fry and George Michael were on a show and talked about the physical, yes…the physical, pain of being depressed. It’s actually painful and hard to live with.
I haven’t seen his movies, but a very sad thing to learn today about carradine.
Martin Short’s daughter Katherine has died at 42 by suicide, according to People.
I am very sorry, because I really have always liked Marty.

Martin Short does not deserve such pain. His wife gone. Now a suicide in the family, the worst of all pain.
He always seems like such a fun, nice guy.
I think @Baker’s absence has to stop being an idle curiosity and start being a proper investigation. Surely somebody here has a way to contact her.

I was able to obtain Baker’s real-world name and address from a Doper who participated in a Secret Santa exchange with her a couple years back. @RivkahChaya subsequently offered to take on the task of writing and mailing a letter.
Assuming the information I was given is still current, we don’t know if RC will even get a response back, or how long it will take if she does. At least it’s something, though.
When he was a boy, his older brother died in a car accident. His mom died when he was 17, and his dad when he was 20.
No person should know his pain.
Not that it means anything, but the person who ran the monthly photo competitions vanished around two years ago and, as far as I know, their vanishing act remains a mystery.

I hope @Baker is taking a sabbatical and will be back among us when the time is right. I, too, am worried, but completely understand that life gets in the way at times.
