Reprising my list of entertainers over 90 years old for the ninth time. I helped keep all but three of this year’s aged picks alive for another full year. In 2025, Joan Plowright, Gene Hackman, and Lune Lockhart gave me a total of ten whole points, and I’m hoping for another low score next year to avoid losing any more of these great talents.
As always, I’m playing the odds, not going for points. The maximum I could earn, if all of these wonderful actors dropped dead in early January, is 37. Eva Marie Saint is already 101, Dick Van Dyke turned 100 today, and Attenborough and Brooks will turn 100 in 2026.
