217 - 87 = 130 (or) Go me!

For anyone who is wondering how I’ve been doing since my duodenal switch surgery last November 29…

I’ve lost 87lbs and now weigh 130lbs. I only have 15lbs more to lose to be at my goal weight of 115!

Wow!

Massive congratulations are in order.

Alphabetical order, that is!

"Grats Opal! How do you feel?

I feel terrific

I can eat anything I want, I eat in “small normal meal” portions, and I feel a lot healthier than I have in years.

Congrats.
By the way, you’re a gorgeous lady

Wow. Just… wow.

So, Opal… how you doin?

That’s wonderful and you look great! Congratulations!

It’s amazing what weight loss will do for one’s self esteem.

WOW! That’s simply amazing! You look like a completely different person!

You should do another one of those creepy animated GIF’s.

I did this one at 6 months: http://tinyurl.com/i889

It’s really quite nice to look in the mirror and say “Hey, I recognize that person!!” rather than “ack! Who let the fat lady in?”

It has to be said, that’s an amazing result. But what the hell is up with the psychedelic backgrounds? Ack!

I just wanted to coordinate with my pants.

I’ll not comment on your pants, then. Still, an amazing weight loss. Trying to get some kilos off, myself - although I’m sticking with conventional methods for now. You wouldn’t believe how much maintenance a mountain bike needs after 6 years of sitting on a balcony.

Opal, congrats, you didn’t seem all to happy in that 6mo pic.
Coldfire, if you can find the funds, go for a road bike, worked for me, more hours in the saddle, and its so much faster than a mtn bike.

Hell yes. I like the outfit as well.

Way to go, Opal! But please - the pants?

I LIKE THE PANTS!
ninnies.

The pants rock. As do you, Opal! You look mahvelous!

I LOVE the pants! And you look absolutely fantabulous in them! I’m not ready for the surgery route to weight loss myself yet, but you sure could be the poster child for a successful outcome!

(Do you think I should put a shadow in the pictures, to give them more dimension?)
