Poor Arkansas probation agent Milton “Jimmy James” Waddams is rotting behind a partition wall at CTU forever.
But if indeed you find him not within this month, you shall nose him as you go up the stairs into the lobby.
Finally got around to watching it last night and the most nagging thing about it is that little speech Jack gave that apprently convinced the President to do the right thing just did not seem all that convincing to me. I mean I more or less agree with Jack’s sentiment, but there hardly seemed to be anything in there that would create some sort of "Come to Jesus’ moment for the President.
But even more troubling is why did Logan even give it to her at that point? I mean why? Especially if he had watched and listened to it like he said. To be honest why would he give her the evidence implicating him. It just seemed so bizarre.
The show suceeds not in being realistic, I gave up on that a long time ago and realized it was a live action comic book. So I enjoyed the season, but I really shouldn’t think too much about it, to be honest.
The worst season was season 4 if I recall, if that was the one with nuclear football.
You must be mistaken, season 4 was the last good season.
Nope I googled it and I am right, season four was a disaster, the most convulted ridiculous plotline ever.
You say that as though it were a bad thing.
Exactly. As convoluted as it was, season 4 was still the last good season.
For me, season 4 was awful. I mean, 24 had its stupid moments before, but it was still enjoyable and mostly well-put-together. The first three seasons were suspenseful and well-crafted. But the 4th season… it was just terrible. The suspense was broken by the stupidity of pretty much everyone. And the heavy-handed “torture is perfectly justifiable” moralizing was just the cherry on top of a shit cake.
I enjoyed subsequent seasons, but that’s because I had to recalibrate my attitude towards the series. After 4, I didn’t take it seriously at all.
Agree with that. It stopped by 24 at that point IMHO, and it started being “The Jack Bauer Action Hour”
Seems dumb they didn’t make extra copies or upload it to youtube or whatever, but they at least did explain the buddy’s copy being gone. He wiped his system when he saw Cole coming. :smack:
I have to share this:
I’m guessing this little thread will be picked up in the movie. I think it’ll end up that nerdy, scruffy beard dude was able to get enough–though not all–of the file Chloe started sending him. From these little “bits 'n bytes” of data there is enough evidence to move the plot-line forward (however suspect that plot-line may turn out to be).
Finally finished watching the finale last night.
Logan can’t even kill himself without having it go all wrong.
Or as I’ve heard it put so eloquently, “He could fuck up a two car funeral.”
