24 Series Re-Runs Coming On Cable?

A few people at work missed out on seasons one and two of 24 and have heard they are being re-run on a cable channel starting in September.

I have Googled and couldn’t find anything, but one woman swears she saw a promo of the repeats of the series on USA or FX “or something”. She was flipping through the channels and wasn’t paying attention to which one was doing the promo.

Has anyone heard anything about repeats of the first seasons of 24 being aired this fall?

I saw an advert in the ol’ TV Guide that said WGN will be running old 24s. Unfortunately, I don’t get WGN. Do you?

Yes! Actually, we do get WGN on cable here in Las Vegas - and the promo says 24 will begin showing starting October 2, and every Sunday afterwards at 8:00 PM. Not sure which season, but it is a start.

Thanks!

Apparently they used to show reruns on FX during the first two seasons.

When does Season 5 start?

WGN’s website doesn’t say much, but does have an ad stating you get two episodes back-to-back each week.

January, so they can do consecutive weeks without constant pre-emptions from sports and holiday-related programming.

A&E is running a 24 Marathon over the Labor Day weekend. Seasons 1 & 4.

And than you too!

Geez…I Googled all over the place and couldn’t find the info you guys have provided me in short order!

And for anybody who missed season one, or has never seen 24 - I think that first episode of Season One oughta grab your attention!

thank you too…

going to www.tv-now.com and typing kiefer sutherland into the stars on tv search box will bring up a listing of the episodes and air times.

as an aside, many members of the cast and crew of “24” are scheduled to appear at the lights camera auction- take 8! benefit in los angeles, from october 21st through the 23rd.

so far the actors who play michelle, edgar, curtis, michael, president logan, bill buchanen, and gene have all agreed to take part this year. probably because the producer, jon cassar, is one of the founders of the charity, lol.

it’s a super-friendly event, and a couple of years ago kiefer let the ladies in attendance sit on his lap for photos

Good. I’ve been reading the old threads as I watch the show for the first time and I’ve seen a lot of grumbling about weeks between shows.

And I start going through withdrawls after a couple Jack-free days implicit in the netflix rotation.

I’d love to start watching season 4, but I’m not done with season 3 yet. I’ve still got 8 episodes to go on that.
