Yep fellow dopers, in 28 days I head for Edmonton, Canada, to spend a week with CanadianSue. Not only will this be my very first plane ride, but also the first trip outside the country.
Canada will never be the same again when I get through with it.

Oh yeah… I forgot to mention a really good way to get through your first flight and the attendants love it. Drink lots and lots of alcohol. It really helps, honestly.
