Wooohoooo…spent the morning picking up last minute things I need for the trip. My first airplane flight. That should tell ya how much I’m looking forward to it.
I’ll be there with bells on. The first Canadian that makes fun of my southern accent gets a slap up side the head.

Lola, Vickie comes in this Friday, but the meeting is on the 14th at 7:00 p.m., Sherlock Holmes on Whyte Avenue (its next to the Princess Theatre). I believe Havoc and Smug are in as well. Here’s hoping there are a few more Edmonton dopers that shine through!
We are heading to Calgary for Stampede and to the mountains for a few days.
If any Calgarians are around, we are going to be there by noon on the 8th. Mail me if you like and I’ll shoot you my cell number. That way if anyone is free, maybe we can get the southern belle into a c’boy hat
Finally, after a year of waiting… Miss Vickie arrives in Canada in a short 13 hours. Safe travels my friend on your first flight and don’t be picking up any pilots… unless they have a cute friend
