2nd grade, Oklahoma teacher arrested at school for heroin.

Uh, didn’t anybody at the school notice her face and that unkempt hair? That’s emblematic of addict’s mug shots that are posted online.

She looks like a street addict. How could she work as a teacher for 2 years? Didn’t her co-workers notice? She was arrested at the school and booked.

I hope she gets some help and serious rehab.

Arkansas is definitely thankful for Oklahoma.

She was teaching 2nd. grade. I’m surprised the kid’s parents didn’t notice the teacher. They must keep the lights turned down at PTA meetings.

Apparently meth addicts scratch at themselves while high. Leaving the obvious marks on their faces and arms.

There’s been some rough looking mug shots posted in the past few years.

You know the heroin epidemic is getting bad when it is mentioned over meth.

You looking at her mugshot picture.

Her other pictures do not look like that at all.

She was arrested at school and booked shortly afterward. That’s how she looked that day.

The article only has the one photo.

Well, the school district has some explaining to do. They should do everything reasonably possible to ensure the people teaching our kids are vetted.

It not that heroin is on increase is epidemic it is people OD on it that is epidemic.

Why heroin is in news is because of the people OD on it.

What happening is main killer fentanyl epidemic. Not the fentanyl doctor gives you the street made fentanyl people are OD on it.

Sure there where people OD on Oxycontin/Oxycodone and people addicted to it!!But with all the government backlash people turn to fentanyl and street pain killers now OD is skyrocketing.

And some of this cut is making it way into heroin and now people are OD more on heroin now.

Now days drug user does not know what is in heroin now.

She’s living on Tulsa time.

I would certainly not recognize the signs of a teacher’s (or anyone else’s) drug use. Since I don’t knowingly associate with those kinds of people, to observe their appearance and comportment and compare it with people who are not drug users.

Teachers have private lives of their own, and it is not my business to make guesses about them based on casual appearances, and to report every possible suspect to the authorities or their emplloyers. Is there any evidence that she was not an competent teacher, or that she exhibited behavior in the presence of students that would affect them as a bad role model?

Before and after pics here.

Don’t they still teach that, when you bring stuff to school, you have to bring enough to share with the whole class?

This isn’t a case of casual observation. The sores on this woman’s face are screaming out at anyone that saw her. Her nose is one big oozing sore.

A quick Google image search for meth addict shows dozens of people with exactly the same sores.

I’m aware of it because of prior news articles on meth arrests and mug shots.

Meth addiction eats people alive. The transformation is quite shocking.

Great, now anyone with acne or eczema or other facial race is now automatically a meth-head…

It’s a symptom, it’s not proof. Granted, in this particular case it’s likely related but please don’t assume everyone with a skin problem also has a drug problem.

The headline was a missed opportunity. Should’ve been: “Second-Grade Teacher Busted For First-Rate Heroin.”

I know, I was making comment that meth is usually the popular drug to bring up when someone becomes a trainwreck, but the OP title only mentioned heroin, which I thought was sort of funny.

I hope this is her wake up call.

One of her classmates from college says she was excited about teaching.

I hope she gets into a good rehab program while she’s incarcerated.

That’s the problem when you have a school for heroin in the first place!!

Base on that pictures it looks like she is hardcore meth user and been using for long time.

A casual meth user will not have face like that.
Also if she just does heroin and nothing else you will not know. Unless she is nodding off at work.

“…chemistry!”

That picture looks like she nodded off such that her nose hit the desk.
