That number is slow in updating. We are way past the 3,000,000 mark. There was a thread on it somwhere already.

I’m perplexed as to why the stats are slow in updating.
After all, this site is database-driven. As I’ll type this reply and press Submit, the vB code will access some entry and assign my reply an up-to-date post number. Why can’t the index page simply access that entry?
