3 Neck RB flask

In searching for a long necked flask to harvest killifish food 1 , I came across a Three Neck RB flask.
What the hell does one use these things for besides Frankenstein movies?

  1. Vinegar eels, if you must know.

A three neck roundbottom is used in lots of different ways. One of the more common is to stick a thermometer in one hole, a reflux-condenser in the middle hole, and use the third hole to pour or drip in reactants.

Thanks, vaguely familiar from my only chemistry course.
