Robert Altman’s 3 Women
is now available on DVD. I pre-ordered it from amazon.com quite some time ago, but I haven’t gotten it yet and I don’t know how to verify that they’re actually in the process of sending it to me. Very frustrating.
Has anyone seen the DVD? How are the bonus features?
I rented the DVD of 3 Women from Netflix. Robert Altman has a running commentary soundtrack, and there are two or three trailers for the movie, both rather odd (and not in the good odd way that the movie itself is), and a fairly extensive photo gallery. I saw it twice in its original theatrical release, and the colors never looked as sharp and vibrant as they do on the DVD, especially good for Millie’s color-coordinated life.
Hell, I’d settle for one woman.
OMG! I didn’t know it was on DVD! Thanks for the heads-up; I love that film! :::Rilchiam hies self over to Amazon:::
Amazon lost my pre-order, so I’ve re-ordered. I can’t wait. I’ve been waiting for years to get the menu for the big dinner party so I can duplicate it. It’s frozen shrimp cocktail, pigs in a blanket, and chocolate pudding cups. Anything else?
What exactly is it that Shelly Duvall says when the police report her missing car as being yellow? Something like, “It’s not yellow… it’s mustard.”
Walloon, I’m thrilled to hear that the color scheme comes across well on the small screen. I hope the other details do as well. Like Shelley’s skirt always hanging out the car door.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen this movie. It’s going to be a treat.
Her car isn’t American mustard, it’s French mustard. And indeed, it is.
