I tired 30 rock again, after missing it for several weeks. There is some clever stuff and I think I would enjoy this - but I still just cannot get past Tracy Morgan. He really is just that bad.
I can try to overlook Tracy Morgan’s scenes, since it’s an ensemble show so there’s other stuff to enjoy. However, I noticed Alec’s scenes have had a drop-off since his early brilliance. Although I must admit, the personalized Alec Baldwin call at http://30rock.nbc.com/ is pretty awesome.
Tina Fey is still funny, but I really hope they do not bring back the boyfriend. It’s a predictable move and it makes no sense to me that Tina can’t find a man in New York (a liberal and intellectual mecca) because of her liberal and intellectual ideals.
I find I am enjoying Jane Krakowski’s character the most.
p.s. Thanks for the catch on Dratch playing Liz Taylor. Not sure what the “blue” thing was… perhaps special lighting to show off Liz Taylor’s trademark violet eyes?
