30 Rock 5/3- Queen of Jordan 2: The Mystery of the Phantom Pooper

I think that may have been the worst 30 minutes of this series, possibly of any sitcom, I’ve ever seen.

Your thoughts?

I totally agree. After last week’s live episode, it was a real let-down.

I’ve seen a lot of TV in my life, so I hesitate to call anything “the worst.” I won’t hesitate to call that particular episode “terrible,” however.

What? I enjoyed it…

OK- D’Fwan’s D’Fwine (please D’Fwink responsibly) made me chuckle, but that was it.

It has to be surprising when someone throws a drink in your face when they don’t even have a drink.

Too sitcommy. Jack’s a senior executive - he really can’t tell a camera crew to erase a tape? He and hotmominlaw have to go to ridiculous lengths instead?

In fairness, he really couldn’t do it last time either.

I really couldn’t even bring myself to pay attention throughout the whole episode. I didn’t care for the first Queen of Jordan episode at all either. Maybe it’s funny to people who are familiar with the sort of show they’re parodying, but that ain’t me.

It was pretty lame, but I got a few chuckles out of it (Kenneth’s “feud” with the cable, Liz’s “feud” with the baby).

I do not enjoy the Queen of Jordan plotline. I just wish someone would slap the crap out of Angie.

I liked how the opening credits put quotes around “Written.”

There were chuckles here and there. But this was not comparable to their better work.

Yeah. But I hate that Queen of Jordan baloney. I hope the show isn’t slipping. It’s one of my favorites.

Other than opening the restaurant I thought the show was pretty funny and I thought Sherri Shepherd was great.

The “Game of Thrones” spoiler was top-notch.

I don’t watch reality TV. Why are they forcing me to watch reality TV? Why?

Lordie, that was terrible. Adowable babies don’t do a thing for me, so I didn’t even enjoy that part. I did laugh at Jenna’s “prostitution whore!” line, because that s the only reality-show joke I am in on.

I agree with the OP. This was, by far, the worst thing I’ve seen (according to my memory) on TV. I’m trying to come up with something else that comes close, just to make an example, but I can’t.

This was freakin’ horrible. And I think I may just stop watching the series entirely if this type of thing continues.

The last Queen of Jordan thing they did was terrible. I turned this episode off as soon as I realized they were doing it again. I really hope they don’t make a habit of it. 30 Rock remains one of the best things on TV, and their live shows are top notch.

I liked the first Queen of Jordan show, I liked this one, and I thought it was enormously better than the live show.
